Guangzhou Magic Biotech Co., Ltd. was founded in November 2017 and has since grown from a specialist immunoassay R&D team into an ISO9001- and GMP-certified manufacturer exporting to more than 30 countries and regions worldwide.
Founding
Migibio was established in Guangzhou Science City — a national-level innovation park — with a focused mission: to bring laboratory-grade quantitative diagnostics to the point of care in veterinary medicine. From the outset, the company invested in its own fluorescence immunochromatographic technology (FICT) rather than licensing third-party platforms, giving it full control over sensitivity, precision, and manufacturing quality.
Growth & Expansion
- 2017 — Company founded; core FICT platform development begins
- 2018–2019 — First-generation fluorescence analyzers and canine/feline reagent panels launched
- 2020 — Standardized 2,000 m² R&D and production workshop commissioned, equipped with automatic laminating, continuous film stripping, and high-speed strip cutting lines
- 2021–2022 — ISO9001 and GMP certifications obtained; 30 core patents filed and granted
- 2023–2025 — Export footprint expanded to 30+ countries including the US, UK, Germany, Russia, Peru, India, and Vietnam; FIA880 six-channel platform introduced for high-throughput laboratories
Our Team
Migibio’s multidisciplinary team spans R&D, quality control, production, and technical support. The R&D centre, training facilities, and production workshop operate in an integrated workflow designed to shorten the path from reagent development to validated, market-ready diagnostic kits.
